  • Patent number: 10777880
Abstract: An antenna system and method is provided for communicating with a medical device implanted in a patient. Upper and lower shells join to form an antenna tunnel there between. At least one of the upper or lower shells includes an opening along an edge thereof to form a passage to the antenna tunnel. The upper shell includes an outer patient engaging surface configured to abut against the patient. An antenna assembly includes a substrate and an inductive RF antenna provided on the substrate. The antenna assembly is movable within the antenna tunnel. The substrate includes a stem projecting through the passage. A handle is joined to the stem and is located outside of the antenna tunnel. • Patent number: 9347578
Abstract: Provided is a check valve assembly including a check valve having a body and a stem having at least one radially inwardly deflectable member having an end with a radially outwardly projecting catch, and a valve shield retained on the stem between the body and the end of the at least one radially inwardly deflectable member by the radially outwardly projecting catch. In this way, a mechanical bond is provided between the check valve and the valve shield, thereby eliminating the need to clean the body of the check valve to remove contaminants to allow an adhesive to hold the check valve to the valve shield.

  • Patent number: 8425200
Abstract: The present invention provides a technique using current sensing to control the pressure at constant level without the direct sensing of the pressure. This technique will help to reduce dependency solely on switch or sensor and their non linearity and other associated problems such as the non-repetitive behavior, being affected by EMI etc. The technique includes using a pump controller featuring one or more modules configured to respond to one or more input signals containing information about current provided from a pump; and configured to provide one or more output signals containing information to control the pump to operate at a substantially constant pressure without the direct sensing of pump pressure. The one or more modules control the operation of the pump based at least partly on a table of characteristics related to voltage and current that is calibrated for each pump.

  • Patent number: 7392340
Abstract: A disk drive is disclosed comprising a disk, a head actuated over the disk, a host interface for receiving disk access commands from a host, a command queue for queuing the disk access commands, and a stream detection engine for evaluating the disk access commands to detect a plurality of streams accessed by the host. The stream detection engine maintains a stream data structure for each detected stream, wherein the stream data structure comprises a frequency counter for tracking a number of disk access commands associated with the stream out of a predetermined number of consecutive disk access commands received from the host. A disk controller selects one of the streams for servicing in response to the frequency counters.
