    Abstract: A spring clip mounting system that enables electronics to be mounted in a cavity, for example in a wall and includes at least one spring clip coupled to a mount. The at least one spring clip includes a body, a lever arm, a pole, a first spring element, a rectangle, and a second spring element. The body moves down the pole when the lever arm is asserted, and moves up the pole when the rectangle is asserted. The at least one spring clip is rotated to enable a portion of the mount and the at least one spring clip to be inserted into a cavity for example in a wall, to couple the mount to the wall when the lever arm is asserted. The rectangle is asserted and the system to be removed from the wall.

    Abstract: An architectural speaker assembly includes a speaker supported within the speaker enclosure of a mounting fixture. A grill is provided to conceal the speaker. A grill support is configured to support the grill substantially flush with a facing ring of the mounting fixture to blend into the surrounding ceiling or wall. The grill support includes a concave wall that surrounds the speaker. A number of bosses project form the wall, each boss supporting a permanent magnet that magnetically engages the grill to firmly hold it on the grill support.

    Abstract: A system for distributing electronic information signals throughout a structure, particularly a residential dwelling, is disclosed. The system adapts a plurality of electronic information signals to be received by one or more information utilizing devices which are located throughout a structure. The system provides for adapting a multi-line telephone signal distribution hub for use with a one or two telephone lines allows the wiring for an internal telephone system to be installed immediately with a single telephone line interfaced to the multi-line telephone signal distribution hub while a control box and additional telephone lines from the telephone service utility can be readily connected at a later date. Further, the system distributes electronic signals within a room equipped for audio and video presentations and having a plurality of speaker connection locations for use in home theater applications, thus allowing home theater components to be easily and properly set up or changed.

In accordance with particular aspects of the present invention, an improved structure and method of installing a plurality of communication cables in a wall adjacent to an existing electrical box attached to a building member is provided. An apparatus for adapting a multi-line telephone signal distribution hub for use with a single telephone line, or two telephone lines, is also included which allows the wiring for an internal KSU/PBX telephone system to be installed immediately and a single telephone line readily interfaced with a multi-line telephone signal distribution hub while a KSU/PBX control box and additional telephone lines from the telephone service utility can be readily connected at a later date.
