  • Publication number: 20250015887
Abstract: A method and a system for monitoring an optical transmission path in an optical transmission system. A signal is transmitted on a portion of the optical transmission path. The optical transmission path includes a plurality of portions. A clock synchronization signal in a plurality of clock synchronization signals is assigned to the transmitted signal. A backscattered signal is received. The backscattered signal is generated by the portion of the optical transmission path in response to the signal being transmitted on the portion of the optical transmission path. Based on the assigned clock synchronization signal, the portion of the optical transmission path is monitored by analyzing the backscattered signal to determine a presence of an interference on the portion of the optical transmission path.

  • Patent number: 12156821
Abstract: Embodiments provide an adjustable cage template for determining a cage for use in a spinal surgery. The adjustable cage template may include top and bottom cage template, control supports. A configuration of the cage template may be modified and sensors may measure forces applied to the cage template during the modification of the cage template configuration. Modifications to the cage template include rotation of the top cage template relative to the bottom cage template, vertical translation of the top cage template relative to the bottom cage template, or both rotation and vertical translation of the top and bottom cage templates. Information associated with measurements from the sensors may be output to determine whether a current configuration of the cage template is optimal and a final cage template may be selected for the spinal surgery based at least in part on the output information.

  • Publication number: 20240366398
Abstract: An improved interbody spinal implant which takes into account specific patient variables. During the preoperative phase an interactive CT radiodensity scan of localized portions of the vertebrae is used to determine whether the template for a preselected implant will minimize subsidence based on the Hounsfield Unit score and a corresponding calculated Hounsfield Parameter value generated by the scan for the contact surface area of the selected implant. If not, a template for another selected implant having different medial and lateral dimensions is selected and placed over the interactive CT scan. If acceptable Hounsfield Parameters are generated this means acceptable minimal subsidence will occur. The surgeon may then evaluate the size of the bone graft window or the implant opening permitting the surface contact area of the implant with the superior and inferior vertebrae to determine if it is acceptable to ensure proper fusion and minimize subsidence.

  • Patent number: 11900057
Abstract: In some implementations, a computing device can generate user input correction suggestions based on the user's context. For example, the user's context can include content that the user has open or has recently opened on the computing device or another computing device. For example, when the user opens an item of content, the computing device can generate a context dictionary that includes words, phrases, etc., that describe the opened content. When the user provides input (e.g., text, speech, etc.) the computing device can use the context dictionary to generate input correction suggestions. The computing device can synchronize the context dictionary with other computing devices that the user may be using so that the user's context on one device can be used by another device to generate input correction suggestions.
