    Abstract: A method for the safe filling of a product in valve-controlled filling systems having, at individual filling stations, flow measuring devices for determining the amount of filling of the product being filled, a flow value D(ti) is determined for a number of time intervals at opened filling valve and checked for significant deviations brought about by air bubble formation in the product being filled. If significant deviations occur, then the pertinent filling valve is closed prematurely.
