  • Patent number: 11549288
Abstract: A transmission mechanism for a vehicle door handle is provided, the handle including a handle lever, movable between a flushing position and a ready position, the mechanism attachable to the lever and to an electric motor, and including a lever shaft connectable to the lever, a rotation of which causes motion between the positions; a reduction mechanism to adapt an output torque of the motor into a rotational motion of the shaft, including first and second reduction stages each having a worm drive, the first including a first worm and a first worm gear, and the second having a second worm and another worm gear rotationally coupled to the shaft; and a brake mechanism frictionally engaging a rotating element of one of the stages when the shaft reaches a rotational braking position between the positions to stop the shaft in a position where the lever is in the ready position.

  • Publication number: 20210071450
Abstract: A car door handle device includes a handle which can be moved between a retracted position and a deployed position by an actuator. The actuator includes an electric motor and a housing containing the electric motor. The handle device includes electrical components connected to a connector mounted on a housing of the actuator. The connection of the motor and the electrical components with the connector is established by cables that pass through the housing of the actuator.

  • Patent number: 10487547
Abstract: The invention relates to a system for controlling the opening (4) of a motor vehicle door (2). The system (4) comprises: a housing (8); a handle (6) pivoting relative to the housing (8); an electric motor (18) for retracting and extending the handle of the openable body section; and a computer (22) which controls the power supply of the motor (18), and which switches from a standby mode to an active mode when the handle (6) is moved. The electric motor (18) generates a wake-up voltage during the movement of the handle (6) relative to the housing (8). The computer (22) is configured to switch from standby mode to active mode when it receives the wake-up voltage generated by the motor (18). Waking only takes place when the wake-up voltage reaches a threshold S of 5 mV.

  • Publication number: 20190112846
Abstract: A handle for a vehicle door includes a grip member configured to cooperate with a latch mechanism to unlatch the door. The grip member includes a gripping part and is movable between a flushing position in which the gripping part extends flush to an external panel of the door, an active position in which the gripping part projects with respect to the external panel and becomes graspable, and an opening position in which the grip member cooperates with the latch mechanism to activate the latch mechanism and to unlatch the door. The handle further includes a driving mechanism moving in rotation according to a driving rotation axis and configured to drive an actuator lever cooperating with the grip member, and a motor cooperating with the driving mechanism for moving said driving mechanism according to the driving rotation axis.
