  • Publication number: 20180117324
Abstract: A method of employing an implantable medical device to detect pacemaker mediated tachycardia (PMT) and adjusting a parameter (e.g. PVARP) in response to confirmation of the PMT. The method comprises, with a processor located in the implantable medical device, (1) measuring a first Vp-As (VA1), (2) lengthening SAV by 50 ms for 1 beat in response to measuring VA1, (3) measuring a second Vp-As (VA2), (4) returning to a normal SAV, (5) measuring a third Vp-As (VA3), (6) determining whether VA1=VA2 and VA1=VA3, (7) in response to determining whether VA1=VA2 and VA1=VA3, confirming presence of PMT, and (8) in response to confirming presence of PMT, PVARP is extended.

  • Patent number: 8781584
Abstract: Various techniques for facilitating selection of a pacing vector for pacing a chamber of a heart are described. One example method described includes, for each of a plurality of vectors, delivering a pacing pulse to capture a first heart chamber, determining a first time interval between the pacing pulse and a sensed event in a second heart chamber, determining a capture detection window in response to the determined first time interval, and enabling a capture detection module to iteratively decrease a pacing pulse magnitude delivered in the first heart chamber until an event in the second heart chamber is not sensed during the determined capture detection window.

  • Patent number: 5592835
Abstract: A necklace formed of a plurality of interconnected globular like beads wherein the beads are adapted to permit installation of gemstones in selected beads, and for adding gemstones at later times. A central pendant includes a central bead having a pair of beads, each of which are permanently attached thereto at about a 45 degree angle with respect to a vertical center line of the central bead. A pair of strings of single beads is formed with one of each attached to the pendant. The single beads are movably linked to form two strings thereof having clasp for forming a necklace. Each of the pendant beads and the string beads are globular in shape, and include a partial rear central bore therein. At any time, a bead can easily be modified to form a gemstone setting in the front face thereof, and a stone installed therein. Thus, the necklace of the invention can provide a means for celebrating anniversaries and other special occasions.

  • Patent number: 5374117
Abstract: The apparatus is an apparatus for rotating a "lazy susan" shelf inside a cabinet. The apparatus uses a cam action to move the door back toward the axis and away from the cabinet edges as rotation begins upon opening, at the same time releasing a detent on the rotational motion of the shelves. As the shelf rotation position approaches the closure position of the door, the door moves gently out toward its closed position, and the door is automatically aligned. This is accomplished with a spring loaded support on the rotating shelf assembly which carries a roller that follows a stationary circular cam that has an indentation in it to activate the door's front to back movement. The forward motion of the door caused by the spring action is also slowed by a movement damper.

Abstract: Rotating "lazy susan" shelf hardware for the interior of a cabinet. The apparatus uses a cam action to move the door back toward the axis and way from the cabinet edges as rotation begins upon opening, at the same time releasing a detent on the rotational motion of the shelves. As the rotation position approaches the closure position of the door, the door moves gently out toward its closed position, and the door is automatically aligned. This is accomplished with a spring loaded arm on the rotating shelf assembly which carries a roller that follows a stationary circualr cam that has an indentation in it to activate the door's front to back movement. The forward motion of the door caused by the spring action is also slowed by a movement damper.
