  • Publication number: 20100070492
Abstract: A method and system for matching a candidate with prospective employers is provided. The system includes a web-based career management system having an input node for receiving candidate inputs from the candidate, and receiving employer inputs from an employer. The web-based career management further includes an expert processing system for receiving candidate inputs and employer inputs and for applying a plurality of analytics on the candidate inputs and the employer inputs to produce one or more analytics results. An output node is used for communicating the one or more analytics with the candidate and/or the employer. The candidate inputs include a resume, and one of the analytics results is a credibility score for a respective resume.

  • Publication number: 20040241689
Abstract: This application describes intracellular, cytoplasmic molecules that are translocated to the surface of a microorganism and participate in binding the microorganism to the surface of a host cell. Examples of such translocated molecules include glycerahdehyde 3-phosphate dehydrogenase, pyruvate dehydrogenase, and elongation factor-Tu. Regions of translocated molecules important for binding, as well as molecules which disrupt binding, are described. Antibodies directed to translocated molecules are also described.

  • Patent number: 4563339
Abstract: In electrolytic production of magnesium metal the concentration of magnesium chloride in the bath is required to be replenished periodically or continuously. This magnesium chloride should be anhydrous and of certain specifications. This invention provides a method for the production of such anhydrous magnesium chloride in a two-stage dehydration of magnesium chloride solution, the first step consisting of preparation of a fine powder from magnesium chloride with 0.5 to 1.5 molecules of water and about 4 to 10% magnesium oxide with or without alkali or alkaline earth metal chlorides, or both depending on the starting material. This first step is carried out in a conventional apparatus like the spray drier, briquetting the above partially dehydrated product in admixture with carbon powder under pressure to obtain compacted material such as briquettes of bulk density of 0.6 to 1.3 g/c.c., and size 1.5 to 5 cm. Second step comprises heating the above briquettes to a temperature of 200.degree. to 350.degree. C.
