  • Publication number: 20140138967
Abstract: A system for retrieving an object, particularly a substantially spherical object such as a golf ball, the system including a handle, a stationary member or loop that is rigidly attached to the handle, a reactive member or loop that is pivotally attached to the stationary member and a tension or compression member for biasing the reactive member substantially perpendicular to the stationary member. The tension/compression member is mounted externally, independent of the handle member and on the stationary member. Additionally, a telescopically extendable pole including a first hollow cylindrical tube and a second cylindrical tube which is telescopically displaceable within the first tube. In another arrangement, a system for selectively locking a set of telescoping tubes at a fixed relative longitudinal position including a series of hand operable, externally mounted, rotational locking collars and a two piece arcuate dimpled spacing mechanism.

  • Patent number: 7435186
Abstract: An improved golf club grip, adaptable to a golf club shaft, which promotes a more correct grip positioning, having a grip body, having a longitudinal axis, a top end with a first diameter and a flared cap with outwardly disposed sides attached thereto, a shaft end with a second diameter, an internal surface, an external surface with a uniformly and progressively increasing diameter from the first diameter to the second diameter, and at least one reminder rib, preferably y-shaped in configuration, extending from the external surface, aligned with the longitudinal axis of the grip body and intersecting with the outwardly sides of the flared cap that allows the golfer to carry or hold the grip more loosely in the fingers because of the reverse taper feature.

  • Patent number: 7175538
Abstract: A golf club grip being axially coupled about the end of a golf club shaft. The diameter of the golf club grip is progressively reduced from the interface between the golf club grip and the golf club shaft to the opposing cap end of the golf club grip. The external surface of the golf club grip is extended upwardly into an elevated, linear ridge which extends from the interface between the golf club grip and the golf club shaft to the opposing end of the golf club grip along the axis of the club shaft. The elevated ridge provides the basis for consistent positioning of the grip in the user's hand.

  • Patent number: 4553946
Abstract: A puppet toy and game which includes a configured body support having pivotally connected thereto an operable limb assembly in which an upper arm is pivotally connected to the body support. A forearm is integrally extended from the upper arm and is moveable with respect thereto. A trigger activates the upper arm and forearm to extend the limb assembly into a striking position. A resilient return element means returns the limb assembly to an at-rest position, with the trigger being located relative to the body support so as to allow an operator to grasp and carry the body support in one hand while controlling the trigger simultaneously with the same hand. A head is resiliently carried upon the body support to allow the head to return to its original position after being struck, and in toys in which a plurality of limb assemblies are provided, the trigger or levers are located to allow an operator to control the limb assemblies either independently or simultaneously with the same finger or thumb.
