Patent number: 12197434Abstract: Computer-readable media, methods, and systems for comparing and migrating multiple online user accounts from multiple online platforms while reducing the probability of false mergers. At least one first online platform comprising a plurality of online accounts associated with the first online platform may be compared with at least one second online platform comprising a plurality of online accounts associated with the second online platform. The comparison further includes comparing the one or more fields of personally identifiable information associated with the first user and the one or more fields of personally identifiable information associated with the second user while excluding known improbable values. Following the comparison between the online accounts, a migration outcome may be determined for creating a new online account, migrating online accounts across online platforms, or consolidating online accounts.Type: GrantFiled: July 21, 2023Date of Patent: January 14, 2025Assignee: FanDuel LimitedInventors: Edwin A. Campbell, Calum Haszeldine, Derek R. Masson, Andreas Iatropoulos, Cameron Doyle, Leanne Mckenzie, Mathieu Patureau Mirand

Patent number: 6117315Abstract: The invention relates to a process and apparatus for the treatment of photographic films. The film circulates in a series of processing baths, each of these baths comprising a washing area each comprising one or more tanks, the waste water from all the washing areas is recovered and treated in a single nanofiltration device, common to all the processing baths, the water hardness of the permeate from the nanofiltration device is adjusted, and the permeate is recycled to each of the washing areas of each of the processing baths.Type: GrantFiled: August 31, 1999Date of Patent: September 12, 2000Assignee: Eastman Kodak CompanyInventor: Jean-Pierre R. Patent number: 4969191Abstract: A fully digital phase-locked loop comprises a sampler (1), an analog-to-digital converter (2), two quadrature demodulators (3 and 4) and their associated filters (5 and 6), and a decision logic (7) effecting the correction of the sampling phase around the value of the free-running frequency (f.sub.e) by the addition or subtraction of machine cycles of a signal processor (9).Type: GrantFiled: October 30, 1987Date of Patent: November 6, 1990Assignee: Telecommunications Radioelectriques et TelephoniquesInventors: Jacques L. Patent number: 4852166Abstract: An analogue scrambling system with dynamic band permutation in which the speech signal is filtered (1), sampled (2) at the rate f.sub.e, digitized (3), transformed by means of an analysis filter bank (4) into N sub-band signals sampled at f.sub.e /N and transferred in a permuted order to a synthesis filter bank (13) accomplishing the calculations of the scrambled signal sampled at the rate f.sub.e. A set of permutations is protected in a memory (8) and a scrambling with dynamic permutation in time is obtained by changing the read addresses of the memory. The scrambled signal reconverted into an analogue signal (14, 15) is transmitted through an analogue channel to an unscrambler where it is preprocessed so that the synchronizing and equalizing functions are accomplished and where the accomplished processes are identical with those accomplished in the scrambler, the difference being that the permuted order of the N sub-band signals is restored.Type: GrantFiled: October 30, 1987Date of Patent: July 25, 1989Assignee: Telecommunications Radioelectriques et Telephoniques T.R.T.Inventor: Jacques L. Patent number: 4817028Abstract: This device for summing squares is designed to calculate the sum of the squares of "n" numbers with "m" binary elements, where n and m are whole numbers equal to or greater than "2"; it is made up from a systolic network 14 formed of identical cells arranged in lines and columns and around which is arranged a first peripheral circuit 16 to supply signals to the upper line, a second peripheral circuit 18 to supply signals to the input column also receiving signals from a presentation circuit 20 acting as an interface between the "n" numbers and the systolic network and finally an output circuit 22 connected to the lower line. Each line of the network is allocated to the calculation of the square of each of the numbers. Calculations are carried forward from the upper to the lower line via links between the lines. The output circuit consists of an adder component supplying the result from the calculations brought forward from the last line.Type: GrantFiled: November 26, 1986Date of Patent: March 28, 1989Assignee: U.S. Philips CorporationInventors: Jacques L. Patent number: 4799179Abstract: In a signal analysing and synthesizing filter bank system, the analysing bank receives a signal sampled at the rate f.sub.e and produces N contiguous subbank signals sampled at the rate f.sub.e /N. From the subband signals the synthesizing bank must recover the incoming signal. These filter banks are formed by modulation of a prototype filter by sinusoidal signals which, for subband k (O.ltoreq.k.ltoreq.N=1), have a frequency (2k30 1)f.sub.e /(4N) and respective phases +(2k+1).pi./4 and -(2k+1).pi./4 for the analysing and synthesizing banks. These signals are furthermore delayed by a time delay (N.sub.c -1)/2f.sub.e), where N.sub.c is the number of coefficients of the prototype filter.Type: GrantFiled: January 27, 1986Date of Patent: January 17, 1989Assignee: Telecommunications Radioelectriques et telephoniques T.R.T.Inventors: Jacques L. Patent number: 4749466Abstract: The invention is based on the discovery that in a solid electrolyte galvanic sensor, e.g. an yttria-stablized zirconia body, it is not necessary, as has hitherto been believed, to eliminate all impurities to achieve the important performance characteristics of rapid response time, reduced susceptibility to aging, and improved reliability. It has now been found that these improvements can be obtained by reducing only the concentration of iron oxide (and any other variable valence oxides that sometimes occur) in the sample, and that it is unnecessary to lower the concentration of oxides of fixed valence elements, such as silicon, aluminum, magnesium, and the alkali and alkaline earth metals, many of which tend to occur frequently as impurities in ceramic materials. This inventive selective elimination of only the variable valence oxides saves substantial cost in manufacture without loss of the performance advantages mentioned above. Indeed, better mechanical properties are often obtained.Type: GrantFiled: March 26, 1987Date of Patent: June 7, 1988Assignee: Canadian Patents and Development LimitedInventors: Charles R. Masson, Philip D. Pacey, Shi X. Dou

Patent number: 4134162Abstract: A drain strainer that includes a vacuum cup defining a ring-shaped base that has an inverted generally conical first shell projecting upwardly therefrom, which shell has a number of circumferentially and vertically spaced first drain openings therein that are of substantial area. Due to the vacuum cups forming a part thereof, the base may be removably secured to the bottom of a sink to encircle the drain discharge formed in the latter. The external surface of the shell and the upper surface of the base merge into a downwardly and inwardly extending ring-shaped area in which stringy material such as hair, and the like, will accumulate rather than passing through the first drain openings.Type: GrantFiled: September 6, 1977Date of Patent: January 16, 1979Inventors: Stanley G. Sharland, Angelo R. Mecca, Robert R. Masson
