  • Publication number: 20160021967
Abstract: A bicycle helmet comprises a shock-absorbing helmet body and an outer shell for the helmet body, wherein the outer shell is produced from acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (ABS) and wherein a plurality of ventilation openings extend through the outer shell and through the helmet body. The proportion of the free surface defined by the ventilation openings amounts to at least 12% relative to the total surface of the outer shell.

  • Patent number: 8850622
Abstract: A safety helmet includes damping elements for example made from expanded polystyrene added onto a shell made from an elastically deformable material. The whole of the surface, facing the shell, of the damping elements arranged along the periphery of the opening is positioned against the shell to form an inner supporting belt completely in contact with the shell. The helmet is arranged in such a way that a position of the head in the cavity of the helmet causes a deformation of the supporting belt by elastic deformation of the shell according to the morphology of the head, generating permanent tightening of the supporting belt against the head in substantially uniform manner along the supporting belt.

  • Publication number: 20140173811
Abstract: Unit composed of helmet and goggles, comprising a helmet cap and an eye protection element that is configured so as to be placed in front of the wearer's face. The upper edge of the eye protection element is adapted to the profile of the lower front edge of the helmet cap. A magnetic device is arranged on the two edges and has a first series of permanent magnets which are rigidly connected to one of the two edges and interact, by magnetic attraction, with complementary elements that are provided on the opposite edge. This front magnetic connection area between the two edges furthermore comprises tilt orientation means of the goggles for adjusting the contact with the face.

  • Patent number: 6328328
Abstract: A device to adapt the base of a snowboard binding to the angle of the snowboard boots. The device includes a wedge-shaped element journaled on the sides of the base by means of lugs screwed into the base. The element is maintained by a screw in a predetermined position. The adaptation to the angle of the boot occurs by means of wedges, for example, which has the advantage of conforming better to the curvature of the boot.
