Abstract: A computer for an aircraft includes a dock part installed fixedly in the aircraft: configured so as to be connected to at least one avionics equipment by way of a bidirectional data bus, comprising a docking station, a server part installed removably on the docking station of the dock part, configured so as to exchange data and signals with the dock part through a connector, and configured so as to be connected to at least one non-avionics equipment through at least one communications link, the dock part being configured so as to implement a pairing mechanism with the server part in order to authorize or prevent the transmission of data between the server part and said at least one avionics equipment.

Abstract: A system for managing the data of an aircraft includes a device of avionics type installed in the aircraft, the installed device being: connectable to an electrical power source of avionics type; connectable to the avionics data bus; comprising a docking support; a removable device of non-avionics type being able to be fixed onto the docking support, the removable device comprising computation and storage resources for the processing of avionics data and, optionally, wireless communication. Developments of the invention describe electrical isolation mechanisms, the facility to cut any wireless communication, in particular cellular, of the removable device, the control and/or the updating of the removable device by ground teams. Method and software aspects are described.

Developments describe notably the extracting of data from images or audio streams; listening to the communications on an avionics bus between the centralized maintenance system CMS and the printing service Printer and/or ground equipment of AGARS or VHF type; and the establishing of links with the electronic documentation and the use of an electronic flight bag EFB.

The system also comprises a device for accessing the data contained in said first and second storage devices. The system also comprises a device for determining the stopping of the aircraft on the ground, a device for synchronizing the data contained in the first and second storage devices, according to information from the determination device.
