  • Publication number: 20250229752
Abstract: A vehicle system for a commercial vehicle comprises a first forward-looking camera, a service braking controller; and a driver assistance controller communicating with the first forward looking camera and the service braking controller. The driver assistance controller identifies a pedestrian as a target within the field of view of the first forward looking camera, determines a distance to the pedestrian is less than or equal to a predetermined distance, transmits a signal to the service braking controller to request deceleration of the vehicle in response to the distance to the pedestrian being less than or equal to the predetermined distance. The driver assistance controller maintains the signal to the service braking controller until the pedestrian is no longer identified as a target.

  • Patent number: 12328454
Abstract: A system and method for providing awareness in a hospitality environment are presented. In one embodiment, a vertical and horizontal array of thermostats is provided and each thermostat includes an identification corresponding to a room in which the thermostat is placed. Each thermostat includes a wireless transceiver that periodically transmits an identification beacon signal that is received by a proximate wireless-enabled programmable interactive device. The proximate wireless-enabled programmable interactive device, in turn, broadcasts data packets including an indication of the strength of thermostat identification signals received. The broadcasts are received by a server via an array of wireless routers. A location of the proximate wireless-enabled programmable interactive device is determined based on the signal strength information in the data packets.

  • Publication number: 20250142856
Abstract: A method and structures are used to fabricate a nanosheet semiconductor device. Nanosheet fins including nanosheet stacks including alternating silicon (Si) layers and silicon germanium (SiGe) layers are formed on a substrate and etched to define a first end and a second end along a first axis between which each nanosheet fin extends parallel to every other nanosheet fin. The SiGe layers are undercut in the nanosheet stacks at the first end and the second end to form divots, and a dielectric is deposited in the divots. The SiGe layers between the Si layers are removed before forming source and drain regions of the nanosheet semiconductor device such that there are gaps between the Si layers of each nanosheet stack, and the dielectric anchors the Si layers. The gaps are filled with an oxide that is removed after removing the dummy gate and prior to forming the replacement gate.

  • Publication number: 20250095359
Abstract: Embodiments of systems and methods to determine vegetation migration encroachment along a right-of-way associated with an underground feature are disclosed. In an embodiment, the method may include capturing images of one or more sections of the right-of-way at a selected time period. The method may include georeferencing the images to correlate the images with a surface of a geographical location of the right-of-way. The method may include determining and clipping an area of interest for the images. The method may include tiling clipped images to a preselected size to define a plurality of tiled clipped images. The method may include determining a vegetation migration encroachment onto the right-of-way by application of the clipped images to the trained machine learning model.
