Publication number: 20250069707Abstract: Techniques for registering carbon sequestration include: receiving carbon sequestration data corresponding portions of a geographic region; comparing entries to a registry; assigning entries to clusters associated with carbon sequestration values; and determining a total carbon sequestration based on an aggregating of carbon sequestration values of the entries. In another aspect, a register-based carbon sequestration may utilize continuous learning, including generating estimates of carbon sequestration based on high-resolution aerial LiDAR, multispectral imagery, or the like. Unsupervised learning and a ground-based calibration procedure are usable to delineate distinct forest types within mixed forest area. Such a calibrated carbon sequestration system demonstrates superior accuracy compared to satellite-based analysis, and is able to estimate carbon sequestration on a grid, enabling generalization across multiple forest types and scales of aggregation within a unified framework.Type: ApplicationFiled: August 9, 2024Publication date: February 27, 2025Applicant: ACRE IO, LLCInventors: Dror HAOR, Hagit Liven BAR YEHUDA, Gordon R. Patent number: 12239030Abstract: A superconductor device includes a high superconductivity transition temperature enhanced from the raw material transition temperature. The superconductor device includes a matrix material and a core material. The enhancing matrix material and the core material together create a system of strongly coupled carriers. A plurality of low-dimensional conductive features can be embedded in the matrix. The low-dimensional conductive features (e.g., nanowires or nanoparticles) can be conductors or superconductors. An interaction between electrons of the low-dimensional conductive features and the enhancing matrix material can promote excitations that increase a superconductivity transition temperature of the superconductor device.Type: GrantFiled: October 9, 2023Date of Patent: February 25, 2025Assignee: Enterprise Science Fund, LLCInventors: Philipp Braeuninger-Weimer, Nathan P.
