  • Publication number: 20140216271
Abstract: A rotisserie system includes a cooking oven enclosure including a driven gear at one inner wall thereof. A spit assembly support framework has a drip pan and first and second side racks upstanding from the drip pan each including a spit assembly support. A spit assembly comprises a driven wheel including gear teeth driven by the driven gear, an inward bushing supported by the spit assembly support, and a socket for a spit rod. The spit assembly also includes a handle assembly with an inward bushing supported by a the spit assembly support, a yoke assembly including a center spit rod extending into the driven wheel socket, and one or more additional spit rods extending at least partially along the length of the center spit rod.

  • Patent number: 7950123
Abstract: Apparatus and methods for transporter shaft coupling and decoupling to assure alignment of a user interface with a control shaft through matching asymmetric cylindrical surfaces and alignment of an upper shaft segment and a lower shaft segment with ribs meshing with grooves on rings attached to the upper shaft. A tone confirms proper connection. Alignment apparatus is protected from damage associated with torques applied to the control shaft by tab features designed to first give way before other damage is incurred and from moisture by apparatus that seals the connection between upper and lower shaft segments. The user is protected from sudden loss of control by requiring the user interface to execute a sequence of linear and rotational manipulations during assembly of the shaft.

  • Patent number: 7000933
Abstract: A method for attaching a carrier, such as a trailer, to a dynamically balanced transporter. The carrier is attached to the transporter with a pivot. The pivot axis of the carrier is coincident with the axis of rotation of the wheels of the transporter. This method of attachment minimizes the impact of the trailer on the ability of the transporter to maintain dynamic balance and control.

  • Publication number: 20040050611
Abstract: An installation for hitching at least one personal transporter in a fixed position relative either to an immobile fixture or another conveyance. The installation has a clasp for coupling a personal transporter in such a manner as to immobilize the transporter. The installation may also have a powering junction for supplying electrical power to the personal transporter, a data connection for transferring information between the installation and the personal transporter, and a heater for heating the personal transporter. Straps may be provided to allow the transporter to be loaded onto a conveyance by wrapping the straps around the driven wheels of the transporter.
