Patent number: 11938296Abstract: A venous access port assembly having a base, a peripheral surface, and a septum. The base defines an interior reservoir. The peripheral surface includes integrally molded X-ray discernable indicia identifying that the assembly is rated for power injection. The X-ray discernable indicia may extend through a height of the peripheral surface from a top surface to a bottom surface thereof. According to one aspect, the peripheral surface may be formed from X-ray discernable material, and the X-ray discernable indicia may be formed from the X-ray discernable material, or they may be formed by voids in the X-ray discernable material. According to another aspect, the peripheral surface may be formed from a radiotransparent or radiolucent material and applied with a radiopaque agent, and the X-ray discernable indicia may be one or more voids in the radiopaque agent or may be portions of the peripheral surface applied with the radiopaque agent.Type: GrantFiled: July 15, 2022Date of Patent: March 26, 2024Assignee: Medical Components, Inc.Inventors: Timothy M. Schweikert, Raymond R. Bizup, Kevin E. Sanford, Kenneth M. Zinn

Patent number: 11883121Abstract: A robotic catheter system includes a controller with a master input device. An instrument driver is in communication with the controller and has a guide instrument interface including a plurality of guide instrument drive elements responsive to control signals generated, at least in part, by the master input device. An elongate guide instrument has a base, distal end, and a working lumen, wherein the guide instrument base is operatively coupled to the guide instrument interface. The guide instrument includes a plurality of guide instrument control elements operatively coupled to respective guide drive elements and secured to the distal end of the guide instrument. The guide instrument control elements are axially moveable relative to the guide instrument such that movement of the guide instrument distal end may be controlled by the master input device.Type: GrantFiled: November 20, 2020Date of Patent: January 30, 2024Assignee: Auris Health, Inc.Inventors: Daniel T. Wallace, Frederic H. Moll, Robert G Younge, Kenneth M. Martin, Gregory J. Stahler, David F. Moore, Daniel T. Adams, Michael R. Zinn, Gunter D. Niemeyer

Patent number: 8609490Abstract: A method to form a LDMOS transistor includes forming a gate/source/body opening and a drain opening in a field oxide on a substrate structure, forming a gate oxide in the gate/source/body opening, and forming a polysilicon layer over the substrate structure. The polysilicon layer is anisotropically etched to form polysilicon spacer gates separated by a space in the gate/source/body opening and a polysilicon drain contact in the drain opening. A body region is formed self-aligned about outer edges of the polysilicon spacer gates, a source region is formed self-aligned about inner edges of the polysilicon spacer gates, and a drain region is formed under the polysilicon drain contact and self-aligned with respect to the polysilicon spacer gates. A drift region forms in the substrate structure between the body region and the drain region, and a channel region forms in the body region between the source region and the drift region.Type: GrantFiled: April 30, 2013Date of Patent: December 17, 2013Assignee: Micrel, Inc.Inventor: David R.
