  • Publication number: 20240087756
Abstract: Methods, systems, and computer-readable media for cancer susceptibility modelling and screening for a patient. The computer-readable medium includes executable instructions to perform a method for receiving input data associated with cancer and a patient, and determining a susceptibility model and a data enrichment rate based on the input data. The computer-readable medium also includes executable instructions for acquiring multi-domain patient data based on the susceptibility model and data enrichment rate, wherein the patient data comprises at least proteomic data. The computer-readable medium also includes executable instructions for generating cancer susceptibility data for the patient, and determining a cancer screening model for the patient based on the susceptibility data, using a machine learning approach.

  • Patent number: 8010187
Abstract: In a method of electrical impedance tomography (EIT), a mediating fluid provides electrical contact between the electrodes of an EIT device and the skin of a body part to be examined. The height of the fluid is raised or lowered between impedance measurements, enabling tomographic images of the tissue under examination to be resolved mathematically for subsequent viewing. Tomographic planes are isolated by calculating differences between Cartesian models generated from impedance values measured at the plane of interest and at an adjacent plane.

  • Publication number: 20100221752
Abstract: The present application includes biomarkers, methods, devices, reagents, systems, and kits for the detection and diagnosis of ovarian cancer. In one aspect, the application provides biomarkers that can be used alone or in various combinations to diagnose ovarian cancer or permit the differential diagnosis of a pelvic mass as benign or malignant. In another aspect, methods are provided for diagnosing ovarian cancer in an individual, where the methods include detecting, in a biological sample from an individual, at least one biomarker value corresponding to at least one biomarker selected from the group of biomarkers provided in Table 1, wherein the individual is classified as having ovarian cancer, or the likelihood of the individual having ovarian cancer is determined, based on the at least one biomarker value.
