Abstract: A battery block moving assembly for handling and a manipulation with a battery block is described. The battery block moving assembly includes a trolley, a platform, a lift mechanism and a battery block moving mechanism. The battery block moving mechanism includes a pin and a horizontal pin moving mechanism configured to move the pin. The pin is configured to engage and move a battery block.

Abstract: A battery exchange system for a battery powered electric vehicle, comprising an interchangeable battery block, a battery dock defined at the underside of the electric vehicle to receive the battery block, and a battery lift for lifting the battery block underneath the electric vehicle. The battery block and the battery dock have guides adapted to mutually cooperate for guiding the battery block horizontally, and the battery lift is adapted to let the battery block move freely horizontally relative to the electric vehicle when the battery block is lifted for fitting with the battery dock.
