  • Patent number: 6500100
Abstract: A pedal powered exerciser including a pair of independent reciprocating push pedal drives. A pedal at each drive operates a chain trained between an idler axle and an independent live half axle. Inertial movement is sustained with a flywheel and overrunning clutch assembly at each live axle. Kinetic resistance at each live half axle can be selectively varied with a magnetic tension control assembly. A tubular framework supports the pedal slides, chains, flywheels, and magnetic tensioners. A pneumatic piston is hinged to self-adjust the angular orientation between main and base frames. A telescoping clamp assembly includes upper and lower jaws that are adapted to mount to a recliner footrest. The clamp assembly is longitudinally adjustable and detachable from a receiver to permit transport.

  • Publication number: 20020016727
Abstract: A system is provided for dynamically matching knowledge capital with developers capable of developing the knowledge capital. The system comprises an innovator interface, a developer interface, and an innovation marketplace server communicatively connected via a network. The innovation marketplace server receives knowledge capital information defining innovation profiles from the innovator interface and divides each the innovation profiles into at least two sub-profiles comprising a first and second level of information. The sub-profiles are stored in a database which is then searched to determine if one or more of the first sub-profiles matches a search criteria defined by information received from the developer interface.
