Abstract: A computer-implemented method for providing informative output from extracted features of a raw dataset is disclosed. The computer-implemented method includes: receiving, at an application platform associated with a computer system, an upload of the raw dataset; identifying, using a processor associated with the computer system, a trained machine-learning model configured to process data that shares a context associated with the raw dataset; applying, using the processor, the raw dataset to the trained machine-learning model; receiving, from the trained machine-learning model, an output result; and presenting, subsequent to the receiving, the output result on the application platform. Abstract: A computer-implemented method for enabling a user to operate a predictive model for calculating a target price relating to a purchase of a selected part. The method may include the steps of: determining a part family, wherein the part family includes a plurality of parts having a common characteristic; for each of the plurality of parts within the part family, obtaining cost data; for each of the plurality of parts within the part family, obtaining feature data; performing a correlation analysis between the feature data and the cost data for the parts within the part family; developing the predictive model from a result of the correlation analysis; and calculating the target price for the selected part using the predictive model.

Abstract: Aspects of the present disclosure relate to a system comprising a computer-readable storage medium storing at least one program and a method for optimizing and controlling the physical and business aspects of an industrial system. In example embodiments, the method may include assessing criteria to be applied to an industrial system, and generating simulation scenarios based on the criteria. The method may further include simulating each of the simulation scenarios over a period of time to generate simulated physical aspects and simulated business aspects of the industrial system for each of the plurality of simulation scenarios. The method may further include identifying at least one of the simulation scenarios for use with the industrial system based on a comparison of the simulated physical aspects and the simulated business aspects corresponding to each simulation scenario.
