Patent number: 12136962Abstract: A method for tunning high speed link parameters for cables with a transceiver at each end includes transmitting, in response to establishing a link, an eye pattern bit sequence from a first computing device to a second computing device over a cable with a transceiver connected to each end of the cable. Establishing the link includes establishing a communication link over the cable between the first computing device and the second computing device. The method includes receiving an eye pattern quality message from the second computing device using a device discovery protocol. The eye pattern quality message includes quality information of a received waveform corresponding to the transmitted eye pattern bit sequence. The method includes adjusting transmission parameters for transmission over the cable in response to the quality information, and retransmitting the eye pattern bit sequence using the adjusted transmission parameters.Type: GrantFiled: February 8, 2022Date of Patent: November 5, 2024Assignee: Lenovo Global Technology (United States) Inc.Inventors: Corneliu-Ilie Calciu, Catalin Nitipir, Radu Mihai Iorga, George-Andrei Stanescu

Patent number: 11789931Abstract: Systems are provided for managing defect data objects. A system stores a plurality of defect data objects that have been input to the system, and generates an issue item including one or more defect data objects that are selected from the stored defect data objects based on user input. The system determines similarity between the one or more defect data objects in the issue item and one or more of the stored defect data objects that are out of the issue item, based on comparison of one or more parameter values. The system determines one or more candidate defect data objects to be included in the issue item from the one or more of the stored defect data objects that are out of the issue item based on the similarity, and includes one or more of the determined candidate defect data objects in the issue item based on user input.Type: GrantFiled: April 26, 2022Date of Patent: October 17, 2023Assignee: Palantir Technologies Inc.Inventors: Jason Ma, Allen Cai, Andrew Cooper, Arnaud Drizard, Benjamin Lee, Damien Cramard, Damian Rusak, Hind Kraytem, Jan Matas, Ludovic Lay, Myles Scolnick, Radu-Andrei Szasz, Stefan Negrus, Taylor Cathcart, Zhixian Shen

Publication number: 20090295430Abstract: A methodology for describing an input-output behavior of a multi-level logic gate to process simultaneously a multiplicity of independent Boolean logic functions, with each Boolean function processing signals carried on an individual, separate channel. An embodiment may simultaneously process the same data with the same function or with different functions, multiple data with the same function, or multiple data with different functions. In addition, multi-level logic signals (having more than two levels) may be processed, so that a higher communication bandwidth may be obtained without necessarily increasing the number of traces (wires). Other embodiments are described and claimed.Type: ApplicationFiled: February 26, 2009Publication date: December 3, 2009Applicant: California Institute of TechnologyInventors: Adrian Stoica, Radu Andrei
