Abstract: An apparatus is provided that includes a processor to at least perform or cause the apparatus to at least perform a number of operations. These operations include receiving pressure-measurement signals from a keyboard including an arrangement of keys, and a plurality of pressure sensors associated with a respective plurality of the keys. In this regard, the pressure sensors are configured to measure a pressure applied to the respective plurality of the keys, and produce the pressure-measurement signals representative of the measured pressure. The operations also include predicting one or more next keystrokes on the keyboard as a function of the pressure-measurement signals, and determining one or more commands or instructions for directing performance of one or more operations of an apparatus or software operating on the apparatus, where the command(s) or instruction(s) are determined as a function of the predicted next keystroke(s).

Abstract: A method for providing in-band client telemetry data may include receiving a message, from a first application, intended to be communicated to a second application via a network, the message being otherwise unrelated to client telemetry data. The method may further include inserting client telemetry data collected at a client device executing the first application into a portion of the message and providing for communication of the message to a server device executing the second application. A corresponding computer program product and apparatus are also provided.

Abstract: An apparatus is provided for efficiently receiving a set of medical images from a device. The apparatus includes a processor configured to receive a selection for a medical image(s) of a set of medical images and send a request to a device for transfer of the medical images of the set. The request includes information instructing the device to transfer a subset of the set of images first. The processor is also configured to receive the subset of images in a reduced-quality based on information in the request and display the subset of images. Additionally, the processor is configured to subsequently receive the medical images of the set in a high quality based on an order specifying a sequence that the medical images of the set are to be transferred and display the high quality medical images of the set. Corresponding computer program products and methods are also provided.

Abstract: A method for providing documentation and/or annotation capabilities for volumetric data may include receiving an indication of user insertion of an annotation with respect to a particular presentation state of a planar view of volumetric data and generating a medical image such as a DICOM image corresponding to the particular presentation state and including the annotation in response to receipt of the indication. A corresponding computer program product and apparatus are also provided.

Abstract: An apparatus, method, and computer program product are provided for navigating, analyzing, annotating, and interpreting images. The apparatus may receive medical images comprising a volume, identify a display protocol (for the medical volumes) that comprises one or more configurable and editable stages, and execute the display protocol using at least a portion of the medical volumes.
