Methods may include receiving a first trip request including a first vehicle identification, a first trip origin, and a first trip destination; receiving a second trip request including a second vehicle identification, a second trip origin, and a second trip destination, where the first trip origin, second trip origin, first trip destination, and second trip destination are all different; generating a platooning plan that includes a first route and a second route, where the first route and the second route overlap for at least a portion of the respective route, where at least one of the first route and the second route are generated with an influence from the other of the first route and the second route.

Abstract: A method, apparatus and computer program products are provided for generating platooning plans for a plurality of vehicles, and identifying appropriate joining points at which the vehicles join to form a platoon along their respective routes. Methods may include: receiving a first trip request associated with a first vehicle including a first trip origin and destination; receiving a second trip request associated with a second vehicle including a second trip origin and destination; generating a platooning plan that includes a first route associated with the first vehicle and a second route associated with the second vehicle, where the first route and the second route overlap forming an overlapping route; identifying a plurality of fixed points proximate the overlapping route; and selecting one of the plurality of fixed points as a joining point.

A natural language processing information extraction pipeline that includes an automatic detection of entities is applied to the data sources. Information about detected entities is identified by analyzing products of the natural language processing pipeline. Identified information is grouped into equivalence classes containing equivalent information. At least one displayable representation of the equivalence classes is created. An order in which the at least one displayable representation is displayed is computed. A combined representation of the equivalence classes that respects the order in which the displayable representation is displayed is produced.

Abstract: Embodiments are directed to a computer implemented method and system of proactively caching content for a mobile electronic device. The method includes determining the location of a mobile electronic device, predicting the location of the mobile electronic device, including a prediction of when the mobile electronic device will be in a location of low or no network connectivity. The data that will be retrieved while the mobile electronic device is not connected to the network is also predicted. Thereafter, the predicted data that will be retrieved is downloaded prior to losing network connectivity so that it can be accessed from memory while the mobile electronic device has low or no network connectivity.
