  • Publication number: 20190163739
Abstract: An application automatically composed using natural language processing. A natural language input comprising one or more application requirements is received via an interface. The natural language input is parsed to extract one or more chunks, each chunk representing one of the application requirements, and at least one of the chunks representing at least one of one or more main functionalities described by the application requirements. A coarse architecture logically arranging the main functionalities to satisfy the application requirements is inferred according to the chunks. Existing assets corresponding to the chunks are identified, each asset associated with at least one of the main functionalities. The identified assets are assembled according to the coarse architecture. The assembled assets are deployed as an application.

  • Patent number: 10296601
Abstract: Embodiments include method, systems and computer program products for identifying abandoned objects. In some embodiments, first visual media data of an object can be received from a first source. The first visual media data of the object can be processed to identify a type of the object. An identifier associated with the type of the object can be generated. The object can be identified in second visual media data received from a second source. A status of the object can be determined based at least in part on at least one abandonment factor derived from the first visual media data and the second visual media data. The identifier associated with the object and a location associated with the object can be added to a list of objects having the same status, based at least in part on the status of the object.

  • Publication number: 20180356238
Abstract: Embodiments for determining routes by one or more processors are described. A first set of route parameters is received. A second set of route parameters is received. At least one of the first set of route parameters and the second set of route parameters includes a route sharing parameter. A first route and a second route are determined based on the first set of route parameters and the second set of route parameters. The first route includes a first shared portion, and the second route comprises a second shared portion. The first shared portion of the first route is within a predetermined distance of the second shared portion of the second route based on the route sharing parameter.

  • Publication number: 20180089567
Abstract: Embodiments for cause identification in audit data by a processor. A probabilistic logical representation is extracted from text data representing a knowledge domain according to an ontology to identify one or more reoccurring problems of the knowledge domain. A root cause and one or more causal factors of the one or more reoccurring problems is automatically identified using the logical representation such that the identifying associates a confidence level for the root cause and the one or more causal factors.

  • Publication number: 20170330134
Abstract: Automatically collecting bin content by receiving input data comprising geographic information, a set of constraints, a first set of status parameters corresponding to each of a plurality of service vehicles, and a second set of status parameters corresponding to each of a plurality of autonomous mobile bins. The input data is used to compute a first set of schedules for each of the plurality of service vehicles and a second set of schedules for each of the plurality of autonomous mobile bins. The first set of schedules and the second set of schedules together specify at least one meeting point at a meeting time between a service vehicle of the plurality of service vehicles and at least one bin of the plurality of autonomous mobile bins.

  • Publication number: 20170276660
Abstract: Technical solutions are described for predicting water quality of a water source over a forecast horizon and for multiple locations. An example computer-implemented method includes receiving a forecast horizon for across which to predict the water quality. The forecast horizon includes a plurality of time periods. The computer-implemented method also includes receiving one or more geographical locations at which to predict the water quality. The computer-implemented method also includes receiving a set of water quality measures for the water source. The computer-implemented method also includes determining predicted water quality measures for the geographical location at each of the plurality of time periods in the forecast horizon based on the water quality measures. The computer-implemented method also includes outputting one or more of the predicted water quality measures.

  • Publication number: 20160155053
Abstract: There is provided a method, a system and a computer program product for supporting a decision making process. The system receives a decision model from a decision maker, the decision model used for determining a solution to a decision problem based on attributes and uncertainties of the decision problem. The decision problem includes information about a plurality of outcome vectors that represent all possible outcomes and the uncertainties associated with the decision problem. The system determines whether the received decision model can be solved without receiving any preference information from the decision maker. The system receives partially specified preference information from the decision maker if the received decision model cannot be solved without any preference information. The system solves the decision model with the partially specified preference information. The system recommends, based on the solution, one or more decisions to the decision maker.

  • Publication number: 20160026935
Abstract: Travel planning is provided for a plurality of individuals vying for the use of shared transportation vehicles. A set of travel event requests for the plurality of individuals are accessed as are a set of travel preferences for the plurality of individuals and the travel event requests. Schedules are generated that specify the use of the shared transportation vehicles and that are based upon the set of travel event requests and a tradeoff factor that is derived from scheduling compromises relative to the set of travel preferences. Conflicts are identified, within the schedule and relative to at least one of the shared transportation vehicles, and then presented to at least two individuals. A conflict decision is received from the at least two individuals and the tradeoff factor is modified based upon the conflict decision. The schedule is updated based upon the conflict decision and the tradeoff factor as modified.

  • Patent number: 4753770
Abstract: This invention relates to a control system for heat supply as hot water from nuclear power plants equipped with condensation units. This leads to the increased efficiency of the nuclear power plant on the basis of heat extraction from the turbine and its utilization for district heating with hot water as agent. The system requires a turbine nonadjustable bleeding through which a steam flow is extracted. A flow nozzle for steam flow measurement is provided on the steam transport line, a pressure transducer which sends a signal to a comparing and control unit which receives also a signal from another pressure transducer located on the turbine first stage. The comparing and control unit actuates the motorized steam and condensate valves, performing the turbine protection in case that the steam flow extracted at the nonadjustable bleeding exceeds the allowed limit.
