Abstract: The present invention concerns a pot lid for a cooking pot, wherein the pot lid comprises a cover plate and a lid edge and is provided with a vapor passage, wherein the vapor passage makes a fluid connection between the pot volume and the ambient volume, wherein the vapor passage is formed by a vapor passage opening in the cover plate of the pot lid and a vapor removal channel, wherein the vapor removal channel extends to the lid edge for discharging vapor to the lid edge and wherein the vapor removal channel is surrounded by a housing. The present invention also concerns a cooking assembly comprising the aforementioned pot lid and a cooking pot.
