  • Publication number: 20260215683
Abstract: A wide-angle viewing system (WAVS) for an ophthalmic microscope is provided. The WAVS includes a frame, a reduction lens module attached to the frame, and an image inverter-reverter module movably coupled to the frame. The reduction lens module includes an ophthalmic microscope mount, and a movable reduction lens assembly with an optical axis, a disengaged position, and an engaged position. The image inverter-reverter module includes an optical prism and a loupe lens assembly. The image inverter-reverter module has an optical axis, a stowed position, and a deployed position. When the movable reduction lens assembly is disposed in the engaged position, the optical axis of the movable reduction lens assembly is aligned with the optical axis of the ophthalmic microscope. When the image inverter-reverter module is disposed in the deployed position, the optical axis of the image inverter-reverter module is aligned with the optical axis of the ophthalmic microscope.

  • Publication number: 20260060192
Abstract: The invention relates to a method for accelerating the time to flowering of a plant and/or for increasing the amount of flowers and/or fruits produced by said plant of the family rubiaceae, the method comprising providing a plant seed or plant part which is capable of regeneration, cultivating the same to a stage in which a cultivated shoot is obtained that comprises a fork from which an orthotropic shoot and at least two plagiotropic branches have developed, pruning the cultivated shoot at said fork by removing at least the orthotropic shoot and maintaining at least one plagiotropic branch to obtain a pruned shoot, cultivating the pruned shoot until flowers form on the at least one plagiotropic branch to obtain a flowered shoot.

  • Publication number: 20250064639
Abstract: A system for performing ophthalmic treatments includes a surgical microscope configured to capture surface images of an eye of a patient and an imaging device mounted to the surgical microscope and configured to capture section images of the eye of the patient. A controller is coupled to the surgical microscope and the imaging device, the controller configured to receive the surface images and section images and provide feedback facilitating performance of the ophthalmic treatments based on the section images and the surface images. Feedback may relate to avoiding bag rupture during phacoemulsification, safely performing retinal membrane peeling, placing an IOL, treating glaucoma, or performing other ophthalmic treatments.
