    Abstract: Systems and methods for configuring reduced repetitions for ultra-wideband (UWB) physical layer headers may include a first UWB device that generates a packet including a first header and a second header. The first header may include a plurality of bits indicating a data rate and an encoding scheme of a payload of the packet. The first UWB device may transmit the packet to a second UWB device. The second UWB device may receive and decode the packet according to the encoding scheme and the data rate.
