  • Patent number: 9910938
Abstract: A method can include providing data for at least one shale gas formation; performing a statistical analysis on the data for each of the at least one shale gas formation; providing a simulation model; history matching the simulation model for each of the at least one shale gas formation based at least in part on the performed statistical analysis to generate a history matched model for each of the at least one shale gas formation; and forecasting production for another shale gas formation by plugging in data for the other shale gas formation into each generated history matched model. Various other apparatuses, systems, methods, etc., are also disclosed.

  • Patent number: 8672079
Abstract: An anti-theft guard for a vehicle component includes a housing adapted to substantially enclose a vehicle component which is to be protected from theft and an attachment mechanism carried by the housing and adapted for attachment to a structural element of the vehicle. The anti-theft guard is forming including a cavity for covering/receiving the vehicle component. The guard includes a plurality of mounting wings extending outward from an edge formed about a periphery of the cavity, wherein the mounting wings are provided to secure the anti-theft guard to the structural element of the vehicle. A suggested application of the anti-theft guard is a cover placed over an electronic control module of a diesel engine.

  • Publication number: 20030160193
Abstract: A measuring device for the rolling and lathing parameters of railway wheels (1) permitting the viewing of both sides of the flange and the rolling band by means of artificial viewing methods, using two laser light sources (2), each one of which projects a line of light along the profile to be measured. A camera (4) simultaneously captures both sides of the illuminated profile (3) with the aid of a two mirror periscope system (5). The periscope design permits simultaneous viewing of both the flange and the rolling band with a single camera. A set of wheel presence sensors (10) activates image capture by the camera. Each captured image is sent to an electronic artificial viewing equipment (6), where the two profile views containing the recorded image are composed resulting in a complete profile. The obtained results are displayed in the electronic equipment itself or in a computer (7).

  • Publication number: 20030103216
Abstract: Device and process for measuring ovalization, buckling, planes and rolling parameters of railway wheels by use of a rolling rail (2) along which the outermost part of the wheel (1) to be measured is made to pass at approximately 10 km/h. Various sensors (7) detect the presence of the wheel in the measuring area, such that they activate the device. A collimated laser beam system (6) projects a solid light beam on the wheel, constantly interfering therewith producing images which are reflected on a screen (4). These images are recorded by a camera (5) and sent to an artificial viewing system (9) where the necessary parameters are calculated, on the basis of which the required measurements are obtained. The results obtained are sent to a computer (10) where the measurement reports are generated.
