    Abstract: According to an aspect of the present invention, a method for storing a digital annotation is provided. The resource: locators includes a locator that contains at least one locator part.     Abstract: A system and method for achieving clearance control for a high-pressure turbine by means of casing mechanical deflection. An active clearance control system is provided to act on a blade that rotates near a shroud. The shroud is attached to a case at a shroud supporting location, or shroud hanger. A clearance is required between a tip of the blade and the shroud. The blade tip and shroud are surrounded with an elastic case. This case can deflect radially in response not only to thermal expansion, but also to a difference in pressures acting on the inner and outer diameters of the case.

    Abstract: A method for controlling fluid leakage between a first pressure region and a second pressure region within a gas turbine engine using a first sealing member and a second sealing member. The first sealing member is movably coupled to a portion of the gas turbine engine, and a space defined generally between a portion of the first sealing member and a portion of the second sealing member fluidly couples the first pressure region to the second pressure region. The method includes moving the first sealing member towards the second sealing member using fluid pressure within a portion of the engine, and, using the first and second sealing members, substantially controlling fluid leakage between the first pressure area and the second pressure area through the space generally without contacting the first sealing member with the second sealing member.

Each outer step is provided with an oval opening intended to cooperate with a respective pivot which the battery cover has on its opposite sides. The oval shape of the pivot cooperates with the oval shape opening due to their orientation to prevent removal of the handle at either a folded down or upraised orientation. The span of the first steps of the handle covers the terminals of the battery, and each first step permits anchoring of the cover-pieces over the terminals.

    Abstract: An apparatus and method are disclosed for remotely testing communications circuits, such as digital communications circuits for telephony-based services. According to the disclosed apparatus and method, status or history information related to the communications circuits is received from a tracking system. A control system is provided which manages testing of the communications circuits, and a database is provided which stores data associated with the communications circuits. Further, a testing system which performs a test operation or a predetermined sequence of tests on the communications circuits and determines a condition of the tested circuit(s), and a notification system which notifies service center personnel of the condition of the tested circuit are also provided. Information is received from the tracking system and utilized to extract a list of the communication circuits to be tested, which are stored in the database.
