  • Publication number: 20080001378
Abstract: A control arm (12) is provided especially for the wheel suspension of a motor vehicle. The control arm (12) includes at least two connection points (13, 14, 15) for the pivotingly movable connection of the control arm 12 to a body structure and to a wheel guide component as well as a strut arrangement, which connects the connection points. The control arm strut arrangement is composed of at least two strut parts (17, 18, 19), wherein the strut parts are designed as separate profiled parts with an essentially flat or open cross-sectional shape. This presents a modular system for the design and the manufacture of control arms of extensively any desired shape for axle systems and wheel suspensions of motor vehicles. Relatively no appreciable tool costs are incurred for generating variants of control arms or new control arm structural shapes.

  • Publication number: 20070111808
Abstract: Of application for suspension and steering systems and/or stabilizer bars which are located in the vicinity of a source of excessive heat generation such as a brake, it basically incorporates a thermal protector (9) integrated in the ball joint which presents a series of flexible radial plates (10) on its upper face defining interiorly a circular opening (11) which is attached to a connecting ring (12) previously fixed to the neck (7) of the dust boot (6) by overinjection or pressure and/or gluing, so that the thermal protector (9) covers the dust boot (6) in order to protect it from the high temperatures generated in the surrounding area.

  • Patent number: 6810761
Abstract: The gear-change is comprised of a casing (1-2) for securing to the structure of the vehicle, and in said casing a cam (5) is located, to which twin lineal slide blocks (8) and (16) are linked, the first of these is linked to the gear-change selection cable (10) and the second to the gear selection cable (14); the slide block (8) having a side protrusion that freely moves in a slanting aperture (6) of the cam (5), so that the traverse movement of the lever (4) and corresponding tilting toward one side and another of the cam (5), brings with it the longitudinal movement of the slide block (8) and with that the traction or compression of the cable (10), whereas the forward and backward tilting movement of the lever (4), that is hinged on an axis (11) with respect to the cam (5), produces the longitudinal movement of the slide block (16) and with that the traction or compression of the cable (14).
