Abstract: The present invention pertains to the technical field of pipe inspection, wherein instrumented pipe inspection tools (“pipeline inspection tools”—pigs) are used to verify the structural integrity of said pipes and describes a pipe inspection tool comprising a tool body and at least two articulated arms, wherein each articulated arm connects the tool body to a sensor and keeps said sensor in direct contact with the inner surface of a pipe.
