  • Patent number: 9637901
Abstract: A method for setting at least one parameter on an actuation element (1) for triggering a function, in particular flushing, on a sanitary system, wherein the actuation element (1) comprises at least two actuation sensors (2, 3) for detecting an input of a user and at least two optical display elements (4, 5). The actuation element (1) is transferred from an operating mode (B) into a setting mode (E), in which said parameters can be set, with the simultaneous activation of at least two actuation sensors (2, 3) over a preset time interval (T1).

  • Patent number: 8887323
Abstract: An apparatus for electrically triggering water discharge is connected to an operating plate (1) and a sensor (31) that is arranged in a rearwards region. The operating plate (1) is transparent or translucent for human visible and infrared light wavelengths and provides at least one indication surface region (42, 43). The indication surface region has a partially transmissive coating (22, 23), behind which are one or more light sources (10, 11) emitting light that is visible to the human eye. At least one signal-transmitter surface region (21) is provided with a coating that is non-transmissive for light that is visible to the human eye and is transparent or translucent for infrared wavelengths, behind which light sources (20), which emit one or more infrared wavelengths, are arranged.

Abstract: An apparatus for electrically triggering water discharge is connected to an operating plate (1) and a sensor (31). The sensor (31) is arranged in the rearwards region, when viewed by a user triggering the water discharge, behind the operating plate (1). The operating plate (1) is a plate (1) which is transparent or translucent for light wavelengths which are visible to the human eye and for near-infrared wavelengths, and provides at least one indication surface region (42, 43) on the side that is remote from the user, whereas said indication surface region is provided with a partially transmissive coating (22, 23), behind which one or more light sources (10, 11) emitting light that is visible to the human eye are arranged.

  • Publication number: 20120228508
Abstract: An actuating and display plate for a flushing device consists of a non-conductive transparent material, wherein the plate has at least one viewing window, behind which are disposed: an infrared light source, a proximity sensor, which works on a light-reflection basis and is sensitive to the wavelength zone and with which the flushing device can be triggered, and a display light source within the visible light zone. On the plate is provided a back coating, which has a transmission in the range between 2 percent and 15 percent for the visible light zone (22) and a transmission of more than 60 percent for the near-infrared light zone (24).

  • Publication number: 20100180367
Abstract: In the method for contactlessly controlling a sanitary facility, a transmitter, a receiver, an evaluation unit and a control unit are used to monitor an area (2) of the sanitary facility (1) and to control at least one actuator (5) of the sanitary facility. The area (2) is monitored using a time-of-flight distance measurement. In particular, the spatial position and/or the speed and/or the direction of movement of objects (7) in the area (2) being monitored is/are detected.
