    Abstract: The following describes elasticized artificial leather characterized in that it is formed by a woven support material comprising warp threads and weft threads, said material being coated on at least one of its two sides by at least one layer of synthetic polymer, said woven material having its weft made from elasticized yarn produced using elastomeric fibers. A further object of the present invention is a process for production of the elasticized artificial leather.
