Abstract: Described herein is a use of N-palmitoylethanolamide in the context of an antitumor therapy, in particular, a use of Palmitoylethanolamide in the prevention of colorectal carcinoma, adenomatous polyps, and/or pre-neoplastic ACF lesions. Also described herein are palmitoylethanolamide for use in the antineoplastic therapy of colorectal carcinoma, in which the palmitoylethanolamide exerts a selective antiproliferative action on tumor cells and not on healthy cells.
