The other end is part of a quick-release connector and is designed to couple with the other part of the quick-release connector, whereby the bleed device may be connected to a bleed liquid collection vessel. Also, coupling of the quick-release connector simultaneously opens a one-way check valve in the bleed duct. The one-way check valve closes during normal operation of the hydraulic circuit.
