  • Publication number: 20250324255
Abstract: Techniques for providing security for providing a Secure Access Service Edge (SASE) Interconnect Platform are disclosed. In some embodiments, a system, process, and/or computer program product for a SASE Interconnect Platform includes receiving ingress Service Provider (SP) data plane traffic for a tenant from an SP backbone to a SASE cloud network for security processing via an Interconnect that is configured for a compute region and an IP block and an Autonomous System Number (ASN) to advertise the IP block in Border Gateway Protocol (BGP); extracting contextual information associated with the SP data plane traffic to determine a security policy to apply to the SP data plane traffic; enforcing the security policy on the SP data plane traffic to provide secured SP data plane traffic using a Security Processing Node (SPN); and egressing the secured SP data plane traffic back to the SP backbone or to an external network.

  • Publication number: 20250323952
Abstract: In some embodiments, a system, process, and/or computer program product includes processing a Radius start message and populating 5G synchronized (sync) data with a 5G user identity and IP mapping using a 5G Secure Access Service Edge (SASE) service, wherein a service provider (SP) configures IMSI, IMEI, and APN information to identify UEs from each SP 5G network, and configures a security policy per user group and/or individual users for a 5G SASE service; extracting contextual information associated with monitored 5G SP data plane traffic to determine a security policy to apply to the 5G SP data plane traffic; enforcing the security policy on the 5G SP data plane traffic associated with a UE based on contextual information associated with the UE to provide secured 5G SP data plane traffic; and egressing the secured 5G SP data plane traffic back to an SP backbone or to an external network.

  • Patent number: 11202288
Abstract: Systems, methods, and computer-readable media for dynamically assigning devices to specific channels in the CBRS band. One or more dedicated channels within the CBRS band can be selected and a boost channel device group can be formed by exclusively allocating the one or more dedicated channel to the boost channel device group. Further, a normal channel device group can be formed by allocating, to the normal channel device group, one or more channels in the CBRS band that are separate from the one or more dedicated channels allocated to the boost channel device group. One or more devices communicating in the CBRS band can be selectively assigned to either the boost channel device group or the normal channel device group to selectively control communications in the CBRS band over the one or more dedicated channels utilized by the boost channel device group.

  • Patent number: 11051172
Abstract: In one example, a wireless Access Point (AP) is configured to provide network connectivity between a User Equipment (UE) and a private wireless network. The wireless AP obtains, from the private wireless network, an indication that the UE is unregistered with the private wireless network. In response to the indication that the UE is unregistered with the private wireless network, the wireless AP provides, to the private wireless network, an indication to initiate an emergency attach procedure with respect to the UE. In response to the indication to initiate the emergency attach procedure, the wireless AP obtains, from the private wireless network, an indication that the UE is authorized to access the private wireless network. In response to the indication that the UE is authorized to access the private wireless network, the wireless AP provides guest access to the private wireless network on behalf of the UE.

  • Patent number: 10034237
Abstract: An example method is provided in one example embodiment and may include requesting, by a user equipment (UE), a profile associated with a subscriber that provides information to facilitate automatic association of the UE with one or more access points of a wireless network, wherein the requesting includes requesting the profile using a Generic Advertisement Service (GAS) Initial Request frame; and sending the profile to the UE using a GAS Initial Response frame. The method can include configuring a Vendor Specific Information Element (VSIE) within an Advertisement Protocol Identifier for the GAS Initial Request frame and configuring the VSIE to indicate an Access Network Query Protocol (ANQP) query for the profile. The method can also include configuring another VSIE within an Advertisement Protocol Identifier for the GAS Initial Response frame and configuring the VSIE to indicate an ANQP query response including the profile.
