  • Publication number: 20240106881
Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. In a wireless audio system, a first wireless device may generate a first media stream associated with a first media mode and a second media stream associated with a second media mode, buffer the first media stream in accordance with a first latency time value for adjusting a first latency time of the first media stream and buffering the second audio stream, independently from the first media stream, in accordance with a second latency time value for adjusting a second latency time of the second media stream, and transmit a mixed media stream including the buffered first media stream mixed with the buffered second media stream to a second wireless device.

  • Patent number: 11847816
Abstract: Techniques are provided for processing video frames in a process flow that includes first and second computation engines. In an example, the first engine is an artificial intelligence based computation engine, and the second engine is a heuristics-based computation engine. A sequence of frames of a video includes a first and second frames that are two consecutive frames in the sequence. An analyzer determines whether the second frame has non-redundant information relative to the first frame. In response to the determination, the analyzer selects one of the first or second engine for processing at least a section of the second frame. For example, if the second frame has non-redundant information relative to the first frame, at least the section of the second frame is processed by the first engine. If the second frame does not include non-redundant information, the second frame is processed by the second engine.

  • Publication number: 20220351527
Abstract: An apparatus, including: an interface configured to receive raw images of one or more objects across a timeseries of frames corresponding to a movement event from a perspective of a vehicle of interest (Vol); and processing circuitry that is configured to: track a change in intensity or direction information represented in motion vectors (MVs) generated based on the raw images; generate, based on the change in the intensity or direction information, a weight of an influence vector representing a Vol influence on the movement event; and transmit the weight of the influence vector and an identity of the movement event to an assessment system that is configured to utilize the weight of the influence vector in an assessment of the Vol.

  • Publication number: 20220111865
Abstract: Techniques are disclosed to determine driver scoring that consider deviations in map and sensor data in driver score computations. The deviations can be based on deviations from an optimum driving path, and include the determination of vectors between a reference point and one or more landmarks, and one or more reference vectors between the reference point the landmark(s) when traveling on an optimum driving path. A difference between the vectors may then be used determine the deviations from the optimum driving path. In contrast to the conventional approaches, the use of positional deviations (e.g. determined from road markings) in the computation of driver scores allows for improved driver scoring techniques and driver characterizations.

  • Patent number: 10771294
Abstract: A compressed over pulse-code modulation (PCM) (CoP) format (e.g., for data transfer between a Bluetooth component and an audio digital signal processor (ADSP) component) may be modified to transport additional metadata (e.g., sideband data). Sideband data may be transported to convey parameter control information (e.g., control information for codec parameter control interfaces, such as information for quality mode changes), in band data (e.g., data specific parameters, such as timestamps for playback timing control and synchronization purposes), etc. Sideband data may be transported (e.g., communicated) over an interface between a Bluetooth component and an ADSP component while an applications processor is operating in a low power state or sleep mode. According to some aspects, the modified CoP format (e.g., a sideband packet) may include a sideband identification (ID) field and a sideband data payload (e.g., where the sideband ID field indicates the structure of a corresponding sideband data payload).

  • Patent number: 10462269
Abstract: Aspects disclosed in the detailed description include packetizing encoded audio frames into compressed-over-pulse code modulation (PCM) (COP) packets for transmission over PCM interfaces. In one aspect, a COP packetizing circuit is configured to receive an encoded audio frame generated from a PCM frame, and generate a COP packet that includes the encoded audio frame irrespective of the audio format. The COP packet is generated with a packet length proportional to a PCM length of the PCM frame, allowing the COP packetizing circuit to transmit the COP packet over an isochronous PCM interface with a lower bit rate than the PCM frame to reduce power. The COP packetizing circuit provides a mobile computing device with a single packetizing scheme that supports multiple audio formats, and allows for reducing power through bit rate scaling.
