Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for transferring data from a data acquisition device to a remote server in real time facilitated by wireless storage device operative to transmit data across a wireless network and to a portable electronic device, such as a cell phone, PDA, laptop, wireless headset or MP3 Player. Such systems and methods may be employed to transform traditional processes that require continuous analysis and monitoring to be integrated into readily available informational systems. An exemplary embodiment of the present invention is designed to streamline and facilitate the monitoring of physiological parameters so that healthcare providers may continuously monitor the physiological parameters of patients in real time.
