Abstract: The self-sanitizing door knob system is configured for use with a door. The door further comprises a door knob. The door knob is a manually operated mechanism that latches the door in a closed position. The door knob is a rotating structure that releases the latch to allow the door to rotate to an open position. The self-sanitizing door knob system is incorporated into the door knob. The self-sanitizing door knob system comprises a housing, a spray structure, and a control circuit. The housing contains the spray structure and the control circuit. The spray structure disinfects the door knob by discharging a spray disinfecting solution onto the door knob. The control circuit controls the operation of the spray structure.
