    Abstract: According to an embodiment, a composition that can be used in a cementing. The composition includes at least: (i) a hydraulic cement; and (ii) a copolymer comprising at least the monomeric units (a) through (d) of the following formula: wherein the monomeric units (a) through (d) can be any sequence and any proportion in the copolymer. With water, the composition of the hydraulic cement and such a copolymer becomes a cement composition. According to the method, the cement composition is introduced into a well and allowed to set in the well.
