Patent number: 12158973Abstract: Systems, devices, and methods are provided for stable pseudonymous identifiers. A system may obtain first data, and obtain a first cryptographic key from a cryptography service. The system may determine, based at least in part on the first data and the first cryptographic key, a first hash output of a hash function. The system may determine that a mapping table does not include a first record associated with the first hash output. The system may create, in the mapping table, a first record comprising the first hash output and a random value. The system may provide the random value as a stable pseudonymous identifier of the first data. If the first cryptographic key is subject to a key rotation, the pseudonymous identifier of the first data may remain constant even though the value of the key changes as a result of the key rotation.Type: GrantFiled: March 21, 2022Date of Patent: December 3, 2024Assignee: Amazon Technologies, Inc.Inventors: John Nilles, Lionel Bitoun, Rahul Chopra, Fredrik Wass, Ron E. Knapp, Megan Duffy, Nelson M. Pereira

Patent number: 11997209Abstract: Devices, systems, and methods are provided for rotating cryptography secrets in data hashing. A method may include generating, based on a hashing technique, first obfuscated data using first data and a first version of a secret, and generating first metadata associated with the first obfuscated data, the first metadata indicative of the first version of the secret. The method may include determining a second version of the secret based on the first metadata. The method may include generating, based on the hashing technique, second obfuscated data using the first obfuscated data and the second version of the secret, and generating second metadata associated with the second obfuscated data, the second metadata indicative of the second version of the secret.Type: GrantFiled: March 22, 2021Date of Patent: May 28, 2024Assignee: Amazon Technologies, Inc.Inventors: Rahul Chopra, Maurice Lin, Pramod Raghavendran, Keerat Singh Sharma

Patent number: 9847821Abstract: The present invention provides methods and apparatus for implementing spatial multiplexing in conjunction with the one or more multiple access protocols during the broadcast of information in a wireless network. One example includes transmitting a first and a second data signal to a remote unit from a respective first and a second spatially separate antenna of a base station so that the first and second data signals have a first spatial configuration, determining that the first and the second data signals are not spatially separated by the remote unit, reconfiguring the (spatial multiplexing logic 104) spatial configuration of the first and second data signals to a second spatial configuration, and transmitting a third and fourth data signal to the remote unit from a second different antenna configuration according to the second spatial configuration.Type: GrantFiled: November 25, 2015Date of Patent: December 19, 2017Assignee: INTEL CORPORATIONInventors: Robert W. Heath, Jr., Peroor K. Sebastian, Rahul Chopra, Arogyaswami J. Paulraj

Patent number: 9210709Abstract: The present invention provides methods and apparatus for implementing spatial multiplexing in conjunction with the one or more multiple access protocols during the broadcast of information in a wireless network. A subscriber unit for use in a cellular system is disclosed. The subscriber unit includes: spatially separate receivers, a spatial processor, and a combiner. The spatially separate receivers receive the assigned channel composite signals resulting from the spatially separate transmission of the subscriber downlink datastream(s). The spatial processor is configurable in response to a control signal transmitted by the base station to separate the composite signals into estimated substreams based on information obtained during the transmission of known data patterns from at least one of the base stations. The spatial processor signals the base stations when a change of a spatial transmission configuration is required.Type: GrantFiled: February 28, 2013Date of Patent: December 8, 2015Assignee: Intel CorporationInventors: Robert W. Patent number: 6031896Abstract: A communication system that provides call connections and voice mail service to telephone devices. With this system, a called party has the ability to monitor and control an incoming voice mail message, made by a calling party, which is to be recorded onto a voice mail system. The system includes a switch that connects the incoming calls to the called party and the voice mail system. A voice mail intercept service terminal receives a message to be recorded on the voice mail system and also selectively connects the incoming call to the called party for a two-way communication.Type: GrantFiled: October 23, 1998Date of Patent: February 29, 2000Assignee: GTE Laboratories IncorporatedInventors: Steven E.
