Abstract: A system including one or more processors and one or more non-transitory computer-readable media storing computing instructions that, when executed on the one or more processors, cause the one or more processors to perform operations: training, using labeled training data and a list of substitutes for an item, a machine learning algorithm; determining, using the machine learning algorithm, as trained, a respective similarity score for each substitute of the list of substitutes; ranking each substitute of the list of substitutes based on its respective similarity score; and re-training the machine learning algorithm based on at least the labeled training data and a highest ranked substitute of the list of substitutes. Abstract: Embodiments provide a project management application that is configured to provide a server level summary of resource utilization. In an embodiment, a project management application provides a server level summary resource assignment (SRA). The server level SRA can be presented in a user interface as a summary rollup of the utilization of a resource for an associated server. In an embodiment, a server level SRA is updated and/or generated on an application server during a publish operation. After the publish operation, the server level SRA can be accessed and used to provide a summary of an availability and/or allocation of a resource that is associated with one or more projects and/or one or more resource plans.

Abstract: Project management software allows for the creation of resource plans, where resources are allocated to projects without assigning tasks to the resources. Resource plans allow for a proposed or committed status for each resource. A resource plan may be used in conjunction with an associated project plan, allowing resources to be “reserved” to assigning tasks. Resource utilization calculations may be performed using either (or both) a detailed project plan or a resource plan.

Abstract: A timeline is generated from and fully integrated with a project schedule. The project schedule may be any graphical representation for displaying detailed information associated with a project. The timeline visually represents certain tasks, dates and other information associated with the project schedule such that an overview of the project schedule may be determined.
