  • Publication number: 20200103836
Abstract: A system for generating actionable plant tasks from multiple operational data sources includes a computing device including an associated memory configured for receiving operational data associated with the plant from ?2 devices in the plant, where the operational data includes one or more alerts associated with problem(s) that have occurred at the plant. At least one numerical confidence value relating to a reliability is assigned to each operational data, at least one numerical importance value relating to importance is assigned to an operation of the plant to each operational data. The operational data is analyzed to determine correlations between different portions of the operational data, and based on the confidence values and the importance values at least one task associated with resolving the problem is determined, an action associated with the task is determined, and then an indication relating to the action is transmitted to another computing device.

  • Publication number: 20080041402
Abstract: Following a diagnosis of muscle imbalance resulting from an injury to the Brachial Plexus, and a determination of which muscle groups have been weakened, tendons of some of the non-weakened muscle groups are transferred, for example, by suturing the tendons of one or more of the non-weakened muscle groups to one or more of the tendons of the weakened muscle groups, thereby tending to eliminate or decrease the muscle imbalance.
    Type: Application
    Filed: March 20, 2007
    Publication date: February 21, 2008

  • Publication number: 20080041403
Abstract: Following a diagnosis of a Brachial Plexus injury to a child involving the elevation and rotation of the scapula, surgical intervention is used to reposition the clavicle and the acromion, which are then allowed to re-align and interlock with the scapula, thus tilting the triangle containing the clavicle, acromion and scapula.

  • Patent number: 6749616
Abstract: The invention relates to a surgical system for repairing severed nerve ends. The severed nerve ends may be located on a single nerve or may be located on a nerve graft and a severed nerve. The surgical system includes a suture having a needle and an expanded tail, a clip, and a retaining member. Methods of repairing severed nerve ends and methods of adjoining severed nerve ends are also disclosed.
