The present invention provides the core-shell composite (10), to which electrolyte ions can be efficiently adsorbed or doped, a method for producing the core-shell composite, as well as an electrode material, a catalyst, an electrode, a secondary battery and an electric double-layer capacitor that use the core-shell composite.
