  • Publication number: 20240098563
Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may receive information identifying a recovery time associated with packet data convergence protocol (PDCP) communication using a reordering timer, wherein a distribution of recovered PDCP counts associated with the PDCP communication is associated with a configured characteristic for a packet recovery time. The UE may communicate on a link using a communication configuration associated with a correlation between the packet recovery time and a link characteristic. Numerous other aspects are described.

  • Publication number: 20240029047
Abstract: A first request to conduct a transaction via a mobile application is received from a user of the mobile application. In response to the receiving of the first request, a first portion of a transaction flow is rendered on a graphical user interface of the mobile application. A determination is made that the mobile application is unable to render a second portion of the transaction flow. In response to the determining, a second request is sent to a server to provide details for the second portion of the transaction flow. After the sending, computer programming code is received. The computer programming code corresponds to the details of the second portion of the transaction flow. Based on the received computer programming code, the second portion of the transaction flow is rendered for the mobile application on the mobile device.

  • Patent number: 11526386
Abstract: In accordance with an embodiment, described herein is a system and method for use in a distributed computing environment, for automatically scaling a cluster based on metrics being monitored. A cluster that comprises a plurality of nodes or brokers and supports one or more colocated partitions across the nodes, can be associated with an exporter process and alert manager that monitors metrics associated with the cluster. Various metrics can be associated with user-configured alerts that trigger or otherwise indicate the cluster should be scaled. When a particular alert is raised, a callback handler associated with the cluster, for example an operator, can automatically bring up one or more new nodes, that are added to the cluster, and then reassign a selection of existing colocated partitions to the new nodes/brokers, such that computational load can be distributed within the newly-scaled cluster environment.

  • Patent number: 11394657
Abstract: In accordance with an embodiment, described herein is a system and method for resource isolation and consumption in an application server environment. The system can provide, at one or more computers, including an application server environment executing thereon, a plurality of resources which can be used within the application server environment, and one or more partitions, wherein each partition provides an administrative and runtime subdivision of a domain. The system can also configure a resource consumption management module to monitor each partition's usage of the plurality of resources. The resource consumption management module can comprise at least one member of the group consisting of resource reservations, resource constraints, and resource notifications.

  • Patent number: 11354272
Abstract: An embodiment of the present invention is directed to determining non-utilized storage within a file system and providing a meaningful report for reclaims. An embodiment of the present invention is directed to implementing a reporting tool for presenting information about the storage allocated to one or more Linux servers, file systems as well as other components, resources and/or systems. The data may then be used to aid decision making for performing reclaims of the storage which may be highlighted as unused.

  • Publication number: 20180239741
Abstract: Methods and systems for automatically generating a list of keywords for an end user from very large amounts of text data. In an embodiment, a computer-implemented method includes a processor receiving a request from an end user device to generate a key word list, reading text data of a corpus of at least one domain, performing pre-processing of the text data of the corpus, and removing stop words. The process also includes generating, by the processor, a term document matrix, removing rare words, and identifying unigrams, bigrams and trigrams. The processor then performs a stemming process on the unigrams, bigrams and trigrams to form stem words, replaces each stem word with its highest frequency unigram to generate normalized unigrams, generates normalized bigrams and normalized trigrams based on the normalized unigrams, and generates a list of keywords comprising the normalized unigrams, the normalized bigrams, and the normalized trigrams.

  • Publication number: 20150205778
Abstract: According to an aspect of the present invention, a parser provides the portion identifiers (e.g., Xpath(s) in case of XML data files) of at least some of the data elements to the applications. As a result, the applications may be relieved from the task of computing the XPath(s) for various data elements. The implementation of applications may be simplified as a result. In one embodiment, prior API (application programming interface) is extended to provide the XPath(s). In an alternative embodiment, custom API is provided to enable the applications to obtain the XPath(s).

  • Patent number: 7849367
Abstract: A server self health monitor (SHM) system monitors the health of the server it resides on. The health of a server is determined by the health of all of a server's sub-systems and deployed applications. The SHM may make health check inquiries to server sub-systems periodically or based on external trigger events. The sub-systems perform self health checks on themselves and provide sub-system health information to requesting entities such as the SHM. Sub-systems self health updates may be based on internal events such as counters or changes in status or based on external entity requests. Corrective action may be performed upon sub-systems by the SHM depending on their health status or the health status of the server. Corrective action may also be performed by a sub-system upon itself.
