  • Patent number: 10491543
Abstract: A system and method of transferring cells through a switch fabric having a shared memory crossbar switch, a plurality of cell receive blocks and a plurality of cell transmit blocks. The system determines, based on a number of cells queued up in respective output buffers in the cell transmit blocks, output buffers in the cell transmit blocks that can receive cells on a low latency path. The cells transferred include first cells that can be transferred on the low latency path and second cells that cannot be transferred via the low latency path. The first cells are transferred via a bypass mechanism in shared memory to the output buffers. The second cells are transferred by writing the second cells to shared memory, reading the second cells from shared memory and transferring the second cells read from shared memory to the output buffers in the cell transmit blocks.

  • Patent number: 9618084
Abstract: A drive assembly, receiving rotational power from an input shaft rotatable about a rotation axis, includes a drive housing and first and second stage planetary gear sets. The first stage planetary gear set includes a first stage sun gear that may be coupled to the input shaft to turn a plurality of first stage planet gears rotatably mounted to a first stage planet carrier that turns with respect to a first stage ring gear, which is fixed with respect to the drive housing. The second stage planetary gear set includes a second stage sun gear turned by the first stage planet carrier to turn a plurality of second stage planet gears rotatably mounted to a second stage planet carrier, which is fixed with respect to the drive housing and about which turns a second stage ring gear. An output hub is rotated about the rotation axis with respect to the drive housing by rotation of the second stage ring gear on the second stage planet carrier.

  • Publication number: 20060002549
Abstract: An apparatus is disclosed for generating keys having one of a number of key sizes. Memory sections of a memory element are adapted to store a portion of a key. The memory element has a size at least as large as a largest key size of a number of key sizes, the key having a size of one of the plurality of key sizes. Key generation logic is adapted to generate intermediate key results for the key by operating on values from the memory sections and from the intermediate key results. Key selection logic is adapted to route selected intermediate key results to selected ones of the memory sections. The control logic is adapted to determine the size of the key and, based at least partially on the size of the key, to select the selected intermediate key results and the selected ones of the memory sections. The selected intermediate key results comprise some or all of the key.
