  • Patent number: 9643459
Abstract: A wheel hub drive with a planetary transmission includes a wheel hub rotatably mounted on a fixed component and at least one fluid-carrying passage. The fixed component is configured to receive a tire with a gaseous filling. The at least one fluid-carrying passage extends indirectly as far as the tire through the fixed component in order to regulate the gas pressure in the tire. An annular rotary union defines at least a portion of the at least one fluid-carrying passage and is configured to connect the fixed component fluidically to the tire. The annular rotary union is arranged axially between the fixed component and the rotatably mounted wheel hub.

  • Patent number: 9074661
Abstract: A drive unit with a planetary gear mechanism includes a stationary housing. A drive motor is eccentrically positioned on an end face of the stationary housing. A preliminary gear stage of the drive unit includes (i) an externally toothed spur gear shaft operatively connected to an output shaft of the drive motor, and (ii) an internally toothed gear that is operatively connected to the spur gear shaft, and that is coaxial with and is further operatively connected to a sun gear shaft. A hub housing is mounted on the stationary housing by at least two bearings, and has at least one integrated internal gear. At least two planetary stages are positioned downstream of the sun gear shaft, and are configured to transmit converted torque of the drive motor to the hub housing via the at least one integrated internal gear.

  • Patent number: 7380643
Abstract: A brake assembly, in particular of a hydraulic wheel drive, comprising a disk package formed of a plurality of outer disks and corresponding inner disks, and compressible a piston assembly for braking. A first hydraulic cycle acts on the piston assembly for driving braking and a second hydraulic cycle acts on the piston assembly for parking braking. The piston assembly includes a driving brake piston which contacts the disk package and is able to be pressurized by the first hydraulic cycle and also able to be pressurized by an adjacent separate parking brake piston interacting with the second hydraulic cycle.
