  • Publication number: 20150034756
Abstract: A bobbin winding machine with a plurality of winding stations which are arranged along a bobbin winding spindle for winding a plurality of threads into bobbins is described. The winding stations are assigned a traversing device which has a flyer traversing unit for each winding station. The flyer traversing units are driven jointly and for this purpose have in each case a drive wheel which is coupled to a driven driving wheel via a toothed belt. The toothed belt is coupled to the toothed drive wheels and to the toothed driving wheel via a toothed profile side.

  • Patent number: 7007886
Abstract: A winding spindle for mounting a plurality of yarn winding tubes, and which is formed by an inner tube and an outer tube surrounding the inner tube. The inner tube connects to a drive shaft. Between the inner tube and the outer tube, a clamping device is arranged, which comprises a plurality of clamping elements which extend through openings of the outer tube for mounting the winding tubes. The outer tube extending on the circumference of the inner tube is stayed by a plurality of support members that are arranged in an axially spaced apart relationship between the inner tube and the outer tube. To this end, the support members produce a radially acting clamping force between the inner tube and the outer tube.

  • Patent number: 6111235
Abstract: In a godet for advancing and guiding an advancing synthetic filament yarn, the bearing housing for supporting a shaft consists of an inner bearing support and an outer cooling body, which are in a heat conducting contact with each other. Cooling of a bearing within the bearing support is enhanced because the material of the cooling body has a coefficient of thermal conduction which is greater than the coefficient of thermal conduction of the bearing support material. In a heated godet, a cup-shaped godet casing fits over the end of the shaft, and a stationary hollow cylindrical support is fit over the shaft within the godet casing. An annular space is defined between the support and the shaft, and a heating element is mounted to the circumference of the support. The bearing housing at least partially defines openings that provide cooling air to the annular space.

  • Patent number: 5970592
Abstract: A godet for heating an advancing synthetic filament yarn is provided, the godet comprising a plurality of stationary primary windings and, with respect thereto, a magnetically conductive, rotatably supported godet jacket. The godet jacket is coupled with the primary windings via a defined radial clearance extending between same and the side walls of the primary winding carrier for generating induced currents. The carriers are constructed such that their transformer sheets radially overlie each other in the region of their channel bottom, thereby shielding the magnetic flux outward, in particular toward the coil support.
