  • Publication number: 20230075928
Abstract: A method for producing a silicon anode for secondary batteries. Mesoporous silicon is used for the anode to provide space for volume expansion in the course of intercalation, especially of lithium ions. However, instead of coating a metal film with silicon, here metal is deposited onto a monocrystalline etched silicon wafer. It is essential that the silicon is monocrystalline and that the two flat sides of the wafer are (100)-oriented, i.e., perpendicular to the (100)-direction of the volumetric crystal.

  • Patent number: 10688469
Abstract: The invention relates to a porous hydrogel matrix having substantially interconnected tunnel-shaped micropores with a three-dimensional configuration of an interconnected hollow tetrapod network. Such matrices may be used to entrap motile cells that migrate into the micropores of said matrix. The matrices of the invention are formed by a method comprising the steps of providing a solution of a hydrogel-forming material, providing a template material with a three-dimensional configuration corresponding to the negative configuration of the desired interconnected porous structure of the hydrogel material, said template material comprising interconnected zinc oxide tetrapod (t-ZnO) networks, casting the solution of hydrogel-forming material onto the template and removing the template material from the hydrogel material by acid hydrolysis of the template material.

  • Publication number: 20170136736
Abstract: A multi-component plastic body designed as a multi-layered tube has at least one silicone component and at least one further polymer component made of a further nonpolar polymer. A bonding agent between the silicone component and the further polymer component has bonding bodies which mechanically bond the two components to one another. For the production of such a multi-component plastic body, first a base component is produced. The bonding agent is applied thereto, and subsequently a cover component is applied to the base component, such that the bonding agent comes to lie between the silicone component and the further polymer component. The result is a multi-component plastic body having a secure bond between the at least one silicone component and the at least one further polymer component.

  • Publication number: 20110287181
Abstract: Disclosed is a method for producing regularly arranged nanowires from a nanowire-forming material on a substrate. Said method is characterized by the following steps: a) the material is introduced into a carrier liquid at a load remaining at least three orders of magnitude below the loading capacity of the carrier liquid; b) a guiding member is placed on the substrate; c) the substrate is heated to a temperature at which a thin film of the carrier liquid undergoes spinodal decrosslinking on the substrate; d) a film of the carrier liquid that is loaded with material is applied to the heated substrate in the surroundings of the guiding member, where a gradient of the average film thickness is obtained perpendicular to the contour of the guiding member; and e) the carrier liquid is evaporated such that the material is left along lines extending perpendicular to the gradient of the film thickness.
