  • Patent number: 7958797
Abstract: Turning device (24) for turning the drive train (1) of a wind energy system or at least of partial sections of same, whereby the drive train (1) is mounted to rotate in a machine frame (2), whereby the drive train (1) comprises a flange (16), and the turning device (24) comprises a console (29a) that can be fixed in place on the machine frame (2). The task of the present invention is to indicate a turning device that can turn the drive train (1) at any desired point, without using the gear mechanism (4). This task is accomplished by means of an adapter disk (17) that can be affixed to the flange (16), which has a plurality of force application points (19) that are disposed along a circle (20), and having at least one linear setting element (28a), which is mounted in the console (29a), on the one side, so as to move in terms of angle, and which can be coupled with the adaptor disk (17), on the other side, by way of its force application points (19), so as to move in terms of angle.

  • Patent number: 7644482
Abstract: A method permits replacement of components of existing epicyclic gear mechanisms of a wind energy system without having to lift the gear mechanism down from the gondola. In accordance with the method, the housing is divided up alternately in its first parting plane and in its second parting plane and moved apart. The center section of the housing, which includes the internal geared wheel, always remains connected with an adjacent section and therefore does not have to be moved with a hoist. Access to the components to be replaced is always guaranteed by the special method of opening. An installation bolt is also provided that is particularly suitable for implementing the method.

  • Patent number: 5549081
Abstract: In an arrangement for operating valves of an internal combustion engine by means of at least two operating members for opening and closing each valve and a camshaft with cams having base portions and camming portions for operating the operating members wherein the operating members for a valve are disposed in side-by-side relation and have guide bores which are aligned when the operating members are disposed on the base portions of the cams and a coupling pin is movable in the guide bores and couples the adjacent operating arms when disposed so as to extend thereacross for movement of said adjacent operating members in unison, the coupling pin is barrel-shaped wife tapered end sections and a center section of a larger diameter which, with the guide bores of the adjacent operating members, forms a cylindrical fit with a clearance of 1-60 .mu.m.
