    Abstract: The present invention provides an isokinetic ergometer comprising a movement guide, power gripping points, a brake unit connected therewith and a speed regulator, characterized by the following features:(a) the power gripping points are mechanically connected with a piston movable in a cylinder,(b) a flow regulation valve is attached to the cylinder, and(c) the cylinder and flow regulation valve are hydraulically connected with one another via a pipe, the flow regulation valve regulating the length of the stroke.
